Both Newcastle Knights’ junior sides progressed to week three of the finals in their respective Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions.
The SG Ball Newcastle Knights were defeated by the Penrith Panthers 32-24 at Campbelltown Stadium.
The Harold Matthews defeated the Bulldogs 24-16 securing a place in the Grand Final.

It was a tight 23-22 win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs that saw the SG Ball Knights secure their place in the grand final decider to be played at Campbelltown Stadium at 1pm on Saturday.
Meanwhile the Harold Matthews Knights have found similar success, also playing their week three finals match at Campbelltown Stadium kicking off at 2.30pm.
The team earned their progression after a 20-18 win over the Cronulla Sharks.
