The Newcastle Knights has named an 18-man squad for Sunday’s Round 12 match against the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

Adam Clydsdale returns from a shoulder injury to start at hooker, which shifts Tyler Randell to the five-man bench and Chad Redman to NSW Cup.

Jeremy Smith (sternum) and Joseph Tapine (back) are named to return after missing last round while captain Kurt Gidley resumes in the halves following a head knock that sidelined him for the second half of Monday's match.

Beau Scott plays in Wednesday night’s State of Origin match and will need to pass a medical on Thursday to join Friday’s team flight to Auckland.

Meanwhile, Chris Houston is set to play his 150th match for the Club this weekend.

The Knights are training on Saturday afternoon in Auckland, which is a session open to Members and fans. The session commences at approximately 2pm and concludes at approximately 3pm at Ellerslie.
