Marvin Filipo has re-signed a one-year contract for season 2015 with the Newcastle Knights.
Filipo returned to the Knights in May after playing in France, however an arm injury kept the 27-year-old on the sidelines.
“I am happy and thankful to be given another opportunity with the Knights next season,” Filipo said.
“It has been a tough year, going to France, coming back and then needing to have surgery twice on my broken arm.”
Filipo returned to pre-season training with the team this week after recovering from surgery.
“ I hope I can now get a full and healthy pre-season under my belt and then go from there,” Filipo added.
