For the third year running, Knight Josh Mantellato has taken out the title of the highest point-scorer in the NSW Cup competition.
"I'm very proud to get the award, plenty of practice goes into goal kicking as well as the boys scoring a lot of tries," he said.
"I'm very fortunate to have a good team, to score a few points and to get the award again.
"It's always a goal to be up there, and if I'm going well enough to win it, then that's a bonus.
"Little personal goals are something that I set at the start of the year and it's good to tick them off.
A highlight for Mantellato this season was the Round 22 win at Hunter Stadium against the Cronulla Sharks when he scored four tries.
"That's probably the game we played our best football, if not the best," he said.
"I managed to score four tries in front of the home fans, so for me that was a personal highlight this year.
"Being a winger, it's all about the players on the inside of you, so hopefully they deliver you a good pass or a good kick.
"Most often than not it is, so it makes my job easier."
The Wyong Roos junior will depart the Club at the conclusion of the NSW Cup season after signing a three-year contract with English Super League team Hull Kingston Rovers.
Mantellato intends to continue his try-scoring efforts when he plays overseas.
"When I get over there I'll rip in to more goal kicking practice, obviously the conditions will be a bit more different over there, but it will be another goal to be up there on the point scorers.
"It's just a personal goal to keep myself motivated and to contribute to the team."
