Newcastle Knights Jake Mamo was awarded the NSW under 20s Player of the Year at the NSW Rugby League Awards night on Wednesday evening.
Mamo was a member of the New South Wales under 20s Origin side to defeat Queensland 30-8 at Sportingbet Stadium with the winger contributing a hat trick to the score line.
The accolade follows the young Knight being named as the fullback of the year in the NYC 2014 Team of the Year last week.
It has been a defining season for the emerging player after he made his NRL debut with the Knights in round seven against the Brisbane Broncos at Hunter Stadium.
Last year Jake was also awarded the Knights NYC player of the Year award.
