The Newcastle Knights end of season Members competition has drawn an outstanding response with dozens of Members rewarded with money-can’t-buy experiences at Knights games.
Knights Member Glyn Mathers was the lucky winner of the Newcastle Knights' Member competition in Brisbane after posting a picture on instagram of himself at the game against the Bronco at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
The Brisbane based supporter was treated to a trip to the Knights dressing shed after the game for a meet and greet with the players.
“I’m extremely happy, I didn’t think I’d be a chance, but you have to be in it to win it,” he said after Saturday’s game," Glyn said.
“It’s really good to be a part of the Membership.”
As part of the prize, Glyn was also given the opportunity to take home his favorite player, Jarrod Mullen’s signed jersey.
“Mr Mullen didn’t play tonight, so it’s a nice clean jersey, so I’m very happy with that,” he laughed.
Glyn has been a Knights Member for more than three years, and often travels from Brisbane to visit the Knights.
“The boys are always happy to get everyone on board, when you go to visit them in Newcastle, there’s a great opportunity to see them," he said.
The end of season Membership competition continues!
The Knights would love to continue to thank its Members for playing their part in the 2014 season.
Members who attend the Knights game at Hunter Stadium on Saturday August 30 against the Eels could be one of 13 Members to win two seats in an exclusive, catered 'Members Box' as well as a position on the Members Starting 13, including a player introduction, photo, and the chance to run onto the ground at the Knights last home game at Hunter Stadium against the Dragons on Sunday, September 7.
Members must attend the previous match to be in the running to win.
Members will be notified by phone and email and must accept their prize by noon on Wednesday that week in order to claim the reward.
Members selected to win must submit to the Newcastle Knights their name, seat location (if applicable), Member join date and a current photo. Members must also wear their Membership lanyard to the game.
