Kade Snowden will be sidelined for two weeks after taking the early guilty plea for two high tackle charges.

Snowden risked a three week suspension if he challenged the charge/s at the judiciary and was found guilty.

It means he misses round 14 against the Sydney Roosters and round 15 against the North Queensland Cowboys. Snowden returns to take on the Parramatta Eels at Pirtek Stadium in Round 16.

 

EARLIER: Newcastle Knights forward Kade Snowden has been issued with two charges following Sunday’s match against the Wests Tigers at Hunter Stadium.

Snowden is charged with a grade two high tackle - careless on Curtis Sironen (33rd minute) as well as a grade one high tackle - careless on Bodene Thompson (68th minute).

Snowden misses two games (with 84 carry over points) with an early plea or three if he appeals and is found guilty. The Club will make a decision by noon on Tuesday.
