The Newcastle Knights celebrated the immeasurable contribution women play in the game of Rugby League at Sunday's game when the team ran out at Hunter Stadium for the first time wearing the Knights 2014 special edition pink Women in League jersey.
The pink WiL jersey will again be worn proudly by the players on Monday in round 10 against Manly at Brookvale Oval to recognise the integral involvement of women in the game of rugby league.
