The Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce contract extensions for Zane Tetevano, Chanel Mata'utia, Pat Mata'utia and Sione Mata'utia.

Prop forward Tetevano has signed a two-year extension, keeping him at the Club until 2015.

Zane has performed well this season and we are pleased to reward him with a new contract, CEO Matt Gidley said about the 22-year-old.

He is a talented young forward and we look forward to his continued development.

For the three Mata'utia brothers, Chanel has signed for season 2014 and Pat until 2015. 17-year-old Sione was already signed for 2014, but the Club has extended his contract until 2015.

"We are obviously delighted to retain the three brothers here at the Knights," CEO Matt Gidley said.

"Chanel performed strongly in NSW Cup this season and should press for NRL selection if that form continues.

"Following a mixed season with injuries for Pat, his potential has been rewarded with a two-year contract, which will be his debut into senior football.

"Sione has been a wonderful junior player at the Club, culminating in his selection in the NSW Under 18s and the Australian Schoolboys this year. He finished the season playing in our Under 20s and was a strong contributor."
