Knights arrive in Coffs Harbour

After a bus trip north to Coffs Harbour on Friday, the Newcastle Knights headed to BCU Stadium for their final training session before Saturday’s trial match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Knights Members and supporters were invited to watch the red and blue prepare for their first pre-season match of 2013.
“There was a lot energy out there today and we completed most of our plays,” Kevin Naiqama told Knights TV after the session.
“There were hardly any dropped balls which was good to see.
“Having a strong hit-out before Saturday’s game will give the boys a lot of confidence heading in to the game.”
Naiqama said the team are looking forward to seeing their hard work pay off when they take to the field this weekend.
“We are still working on different combinations but everyone is itching to see how they go,” he said.
“The pre-season has been going for a bit too long and we are ready to go out there and play."
In the lead up to Saturday’s game the Knights will be making a special appearance at Coffs Central Shopping Centre and also at Toormina Centro Shopping Centre from 10.30am. Click here for more information and to find out where else the Knights will be visiting during their stay in Coffs Harbour.
