Three of the Newcastle Knights promising young players will have the chance to showcase their skills in front of over 50,000 fans when they run on to Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night for the NRL All Stars curtain raiser.
Ngangarra Barker, Kiah Cooper and Ryan Milgate will represent the under 16’s NSW Koori team for their match against the QLD Murri team.
The players, who attend Hunter Sports High School were chosen to take part in this exciting match for their commitment to their education and futures as well as their skills on the field.
“We are really proud of the boys selection in this team and wish them all the best,” Knights Community Development Officer Troy Pezet said.
After the under 16’s match, Wayne Bennett’s NRL All Stars will take on the Indgenous All Stars.
Willie Mason and Aku Uate will team up against Timana Tahu in hope of taking home the fourth annual All Stars title.
