The Hunter Ports Newcastle Knights' pre-season training reached some new and difficult heights last Saturday as the team took to the King Edward Park hills for a gruelling sprint training session.
For those that were there last year it was a case of deja vu. But for newcomers such as Jeremy Smith, the initial sight of the steep slopes was as he cautiously described "interesting".
"I got out of the car and thought, I'm in the wrong place," Smith explained.
