Knights name NYC and NSW Cup squads

Like their NRL counterparts, the Newcastle Knights under 20’s team will play their first trial match of the 2013 season this weekend against the Penrith Panthers at Lyall Peacock Oval.

Coach Michael Crawley will take 26-players to Toronto for Sunday’s match.

After the under 20’s match, the Knights NSW Cup team will take to the field where they will take on the Windsor Wolves in their second trial match of 2013.

Coach Rick Stone is still building his squad for this season and has named 20-players to take on the Wolves.

The following week the NYC and NRL squads will travel to Tamworth for their second trial match against the Cronulla Sharks while NSW Cup Knights will return to Lyall Peacock Ovall where they will play their third and final trial match against the Manly Sea Eagles on Sunday.
