Daily Telegraph becomes Knights’ Official Newspaper

The Newcastle Knights welcome the Daily Telegraph as an Official Media Partner for the 2013 NRL season.

For the first time, the Daily Telegraph becomes the Official Newspaper of the Newcastle Knights demonstrating the newspapers support for Rugby League and the Hunter region.

“We are delighted to align ourselves with a newspaper and a brand as strong as the Daily Telegraph,” Knights’ CEO Matt Gidley said.

“The Daily Telegraph adds to an already fantastic stable of sponsors signed on for 2013 and we can't wait to get the season started.”

The Daily Telegraph has a readership of near 100,000 per day through the Hunter and Central Coast region, and 200,000 with the Sunday Telegraph, providing a great platform to promote the Knights throughout NSW.

"We are passionate about bringing Rugby League fans the best coverage of the game through the Daily Telegraph and thetelegraph.com.au," Michael Miller, Regional Director News NSW, said.

"We are proud to enter into a partnership with the Newcastle Knights, and wish them every success in the season ahead.”
