Newcastle Knights coach Wayne Bennett will take a squad of 30 players to Coffs Harbour for the Club’s first trial match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Saturday night.

Joining Gidley will be exciting new recruits Beau Scott, Jeremy Smith, David Fa’alogo and Mitchell Frei, as well as uncontracted player Travis Waddell.
After leaving the Club seven years ago, Anthony Quinn is making a welcomed return to the red and blue.
